Aero A-304 The A-304 started as the A-204 airliner, which got no sales, and was made into a bomber. 19 were built for the Czechoslovak and Bulgarian air forces. Built from scratch.

AVIA Av-135 This attractive little Czech fighter was an indigenous design. After Germany took over Czechoslovakia as part of the cowardly Munich Agreement, the Germans ordered work to continue and 12 were sold to Bulgaria.

AVIA B-534 Another indigenous Czech fighter, this was used by the Luftwaffe as a trainer and also equipped 3 squadrons of the Slovak Air Force.

AVIA CS99 This 2-seater trainer based on the Bf109 G-12 was built by the Czechs in 1945 for their national air guard. Modified kit.

AVIAF.L.3AVIA built 400 of these trainers in 1939-1942 and some, like this one, served in the Croatian Air Force. Built from scratch.

AVIA S199 At the end of the war, the Czechs found themselves with surplus Bf109 airframes and Jumo 211F bomber engines. They mated these together and issued them to their air force, as well as selling some, like this one, to Israel in 1948. The S199 had handling characteristics that were described as "vicious," as compared to late-model 109's which were merely "extremely unforgiving."

Skoda-Kauba SK V1 This tiny airplane had the ailerons hung out on spars. Most test pilots refused to even try it, but somebody finally agreed, and it apparently flew OK. Built from scratch.

Skoda-Kauba SK V6 This is one of a series of unusual aircraft designed by a small Prague firm working for the Germans. Since the Czechs didn't much care for the Germans, none of the designs reached mass production. Built from scratch.

Skoda-Kauba SK V8 Another elegant SK design. I modified a Bestmann kit and hand-built the ski undercarriage.

100_1291
Skoda-Kauba SK-V4 Another Skoda-Kauba design, this one much more conventional.
