Finland had obtained 30 M.S. 406s from France and 57 more that the Germans had captured. They also had stocks of captured Russian engines. They mated these together to get more performance. I did the same thing to make this kit. |

Finland also made its own fighter planes, including this wooden fighter which resembled an Bf 109 (and in fact I modified an Bf 109 kit to make it). Only one prototype was produced. |
